Artificial Photosynthesis is a process that mimics natural photosynthesis to convert sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide into useful chemicals such as fuel. Our research agenda includes design and synthesis of photosensitizers and catalysts; assembling them into devices for solar fuel production.

Electroluminescent Quantum Dots feature pure color emission with narrow bandwidths, bright electroluminescence, low turn-on voltage, and long device lifetime, making them a promising candidate for next-generation display. We provide methodologies for synthesis, surface modification, and ink formulation of quantum dots for electroluminescent quantum dot light-emitting diodes.
